Silicon barium inoculant is a kind of long-acting graphitizing agent. At present, 80% of China’s casting enterprises are using barium-containing inoculants. It has a good effect in a short time after incubation (about 5-8 minutes).

Silicon-barium inoculant uses:
Silicon-barium inoculant is mainly used in the production process of cast iron. Compared with ferrosilicon inoculants, it can improve the cross section structure and hardness uniformity of different thicknesses. Adding the same amount of SiBa inoculant, its tensile strength is increased by 20 ~ 30n /mm2 than that of FeSi inoculant.
